Who are we?
We invite you to join us in our attempt to find and live by modern forms of spirituality. The “ThomasMesse - for seekers as well as firm believers”, and the “Junge Kirche” (Young-adult Church) are just two of the many outreach programs offered throughout the semester by the ekhg. We support student matters and initiatives and offer help, advice and companionship in emergency situations and personal crisis situations. We cooperate with University organizations such as ASTA (Student Government), the Director of the Ethics Program at the University, the International Office and the University Choir as well as with the individual academic departments. Together with these areas of the University, we offer numerous different German, English and bilingual programs and events. We are your contact for church honors programs like Villigst and Cusanus and also offer assistance in finding and obtaining church scholarships such as KAAD and KED. We arrange contact to German families for foreign students and faculty members. We organize a variety of fun free-time activities. We also offer:
Students who take part in seminars and workshops will receive a certificate of participation from the ekhg and Reutlingen University. Some of the programs do require a fair to good command of the German language whereas others are bilingual or even held in English.
This is what Reutlingen students say about us: “For me, the ekhg balances out my studies.
